Summary: Juventus - Prosinona 2:3/Sport1
Paul Pogba was suspended today (Thursday) from football for four years, after failing a few months ago in a test to detect prohibited substances, and failing again in the repeat test.
Pogba was suspended in September by the Italian Sports Anti-Doping Commission and the prosecutor asked for a four-year ban.
The claimant's request was approved and the Frenchman received the news today.
Pogba, who plays for Juventus, will celebrate his 31st birthday in about two weeks and he will only be able to return to playing football at the age of 35. After so many years without competitive sports, it will be a particularly difficult task.
It is still too early to tell if he will decide to retire, but it is very difficult to see him returning to play at the highest levels.
