FC Bayern's new sports director announced that almost all players would be on probation until the end of the season.
That's why some stars must be trembling now.

Basically, Max Eberl said when he was introduced as FC Bayern's sports director, there is "no need to think about" a deserving national player like Kimmich in the planned merciless upheaval.
But the 29-year-old, Eberl added, is currently experiencing “the dark side of football” – and his contract with FC Bayern expires in the summer of 2025.
You can only earn good money with Kimmich in the summer.
“We have to think about: What happens next?”
The question also arises, “What are his mind games?” In summary: Nobody is safe anymore!
Bayern stars like Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are also apparently at risk.

Max Eberl doesn't stop at big names either
In his extremely ambitious plan to turn FC Bayern into a powerful “Mia san mia” family, Eberl does not shy away from big names.
The stars, as the new boss made it abundantly clear on Tuesday (February 27), are (almost) all playing on probation in the three months until the end of the season.
“I don’t want to give a number, but we will look at who will follow along and give Bayern Munich this heart and soul to perhaps achieve our goals,” said Eberl.
Anyone who lacks the virtues of “character and mentality” that are urgently needed when rebuilding can leave – old status or not.

In case of doubt, this also applies to players like Kimmich or his partner Leon Goretzka.
Because coach Thomas Tuchel also withdrew his trust from him, and now the two of them are being put to the test.
Regarding Kimmich, Eberl said: “He wants to take on a lot of responsibility and likes to do everything.” He sees this as “an incredibly outstanding quality”, including mentality – but Kimmich has always gotten lost in this.
Also no longer untouchable: the wingers Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry and the former Champions League hero Kingsley Coman.
Sané played outstandingly in the first half of the season, but recently fell back into old patterns.
Gnabry is experiencing an epidemic season, Tuchel recently joked: “Serge who?” And Bayern also expect more from Coman (currently injured).
Defensive restructuring: What's next for FC Bayern?
There are also major renovations to be done on the defensive end.
Alphonso Davies is apparently drawn to Real Madrid, the actual boss Matthijs de Ligt was weakened by Tuchel, Dayot Upamecano fluctuates between solidity and madness.
Like Bryan Zaragoza, Eric Dier and Sacha Boey are nothing more than emergency purchases and have to force their way into the home stretch of the season.
Raphael Guerreiro is considered Tuchel's favorite, Noussair Mazraoui never became a constant at the back right.
In addition to captain Neuer and superstar Kane, the only people who can really be sure are veteran Thomas Müller and the youngsters Jamal Musiala, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Mathys Tel. Eberl mentioned the latter several times when he outlined his transfer philosophy.
“We need stars,” he said, but also players capable of development, “who we have to give playing time to.”
There could be a major upheaval at FC Bayern in the summer, which could also result in some stars falling victim.
