Ski star Stephanie Venier is currently skiing better than ever.
However, this cannot be due to a healthy and balanced diet.
Innsbruck – It's currently running at Stephanie Venier.
After a five-year dry spell, the Austrian celebrated her second World Cup victory at the end of January.
No one was faster than Venier on the descent in Cortina d'Ampezzo, as was the case at the Super-G in Crans Montana in mid-February.
Your third World Cup victory!
The 30-year-old had previously only triumphed once in the downhill race in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2019.
Ski star foregoes healthy eating
But what is the speed specialists’ recipe for success?
It is definitely not a balanced and healthy diet.
Because Venier has always avoided greens.
“Mom and dad cut their teeth on me when I was a little child.
They tried everything, but I kept spitting it out,” said the Austrian in the
Blick
interview.
Vegetables, salad and fruit are not on the plate at the Ski Star.
Venier prefers other things.
“Lots of meat, pasta and rice.
And of course other things.
“I can eat pasta and pizza every day anyway,” says the 30-year-old, giving an insight into her meal plan.

“My body doesn’t need this” – Venier can apparently do without vitamins
Venier's unbalanced diet apparently doesn't do any harm.
“My body doesn’t need this.
“I don’t take any vitamins or other preparations – but my blood values are still great,” explains the 2017 Vice Downhill World Champion.
When she was a teenager, a family doctor advised her parents to accept their daughter's eating habits.
“If your daughter’s body doesn’t need greens, then so be it,” the doctor said at the time, according to Venier’s statement.

The Austrian is also having a good laugh off the piste and at the dinner table.
Venier has been in a relationship with the racing driver Christian Walder for a short time - but before that he was also in a relationship with a teammate of his current girlfriend.
