An extraordinary game for the star of the youth team of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euroleague tournament for youth, which takes place these days in Belgrade.
Yaron Goldman, not yet 18 years old, scored no less than 42 points in the Yellows' 90:95 victory over the "Next Generation" team, which is made up of elite talents from around Europe.
Goldman finished 16-of-26 from the field, including 9-of-13 from two-point range and 7-of-13 from beyond the arc (along with 3-of-4 from the free throw line), and came up with big clutch baskets that secured the victory.
The explosion of Goldman, a guard who stands at 1.85, is even more surprising considering the poor game he recorded earlier today in Maccabi Tel Aviv's first appearance in the tournament.
The Yellows lost 82:71 to the Red Star Belgrade, and Goldman finished the game with 0 of 16 from the field.
The scouts in the hall in Belgrade were impressed by the performance of Goldman, a quick guard but not yet physically developed enough, that until this evening one could wonder if he was ready to deal with tall and physical players of the type you meet in these tournaments.

Omer Meir, who is also on the staff of Maccabi Tel Aviv's senior team, also stood out in the victory over the "Hador Ha'a" team.
Meyer finished with 20 points and 4 assists.
Hapoel Tel Aviv's youth team also takes part in the tournament.
In its first game, it was defeated 90:54 by the powerful Barcelona.
