The peak of the career of any basketball player in the NBA is probably the meetings with LeBron James.
Fortunately for Danny Avdia, or not, he and the king play in identical positions and often - as in last night's game between the Wizards and the Lakers - they guard each other, which makes the duel even more fascinating.
The numbers show that Avdia had only partial success in past meetings with LeBron.
In total, he met James in five games until tonight, and in only one of them did he score double-digit points.
Tonight he did not set his personal record for points in LeBron meetings (17 points in March last year, with 4 of 14 from the field), but the 15 points he scored came with improved efficiency, and with the added value of rebounds (15) and assists (5).
Overall, it was Abadia's best game against LeBron James since the beginning of his NBA career.
"Danny Avdia returned to the courts after three games and looked very good. LeBron James tested him and allowed him to shoot from the three, and Danny accepted the challenge," wrote commentator Kevin Broom on the "BulletsForever" blog covering the Wizards.
"Abadiah spent most of the evening guarding James, and guarded him as best as it is possible to guard one of the greatest players of all time, who even at his age is still a really good player."
It is no longer worth examining it.

James finished the game with 31 points and 9 assists, but took 24 shots, lost 4 balls and in the possessions in which Avdia guarded him, he was only 2 of 8 from the field.
In the podcast "Locked On Wizards" they also praised Avdia, saying: "Danny looks very good. He continues to break through, he continues to improve offensively and to impress. There is no doubt that he made the progress we all expected to see from him offensively. He should be a player of such numbers, as who put in this game."
An equally great challenge awaits Abadia and Washington tonight, with a meeting against the star-studded Clippers.
