They (almost) all came for him, Thursday February 29, at the Philippe-Hémet Omnisports Hall in Pontoise.
To see the Félix Lebrun phenomenon.
The young 17-year-old Frenchman, 6th in the world, was dazzling last week during the World Team Championships in Busan (South Korea).
Accompanied in particular by his big brother Alexis and Simon Gauzy, Félix Lebrun took the Blues to the final (beaten by the Chinese) and won a nice silver medal, a first for France since 1997.
But after this wonderful epic, the brothers stayed in South Korea for an internship before an important tournament in Singapore next week.
They were therefore not present in Val-d'Oise with their Alliance Nîmes-Montpellier team for the top Pro A match against AS Pontoise-Cergy.
Obviously, the 600 people filling the Sports Hall (the club even had to refuse people for security reasons) were disappointed not to see the champions, like Isaac, licensed at Saint-Denis.
