The prosecution will appeal the conviction of Dani Alves, former Barça and PSG star, in order to obtain a heavier sentence than the four and a half years in prison to which he was sentenced in February for the rape of a young woman , AFP learned on Friday from a judicial source.
The 40-year-old ex-player was sentenced on February 22 by a Barcelona court to four and a half years in prison, as well as to pay 150,000 euros to the young woman, events which took place in December 2022 in a nightclub and for which the prosecution had requested nine years in prison.
