The reason for this is said to have been dealing with the farce surrounding Benjamin Pavard.

The constant rumors and the transfer to Inter Milan that ended last summer were too nerve-wracking.
New revelations are now creating an area of tension again in this matter.

Thomas Tuchel in a rage: Leon Goretzka cannot solve conflicts himself
According to a report by
Spiegel
, coach Thomas Tuchel blames Goretzka for not being able to resolve conflicts within the team himself.
A character trait that urgently needs to be present in a leading player like Goretzka.
The German national player apparently spoke to the coaching team about Pavard.
According to the report, the following is said to have happened: Goretzka is said to have called on Tuchel and Co. and reported Pavard's dissatisfaction.
This, in turn, allegedly angered Tuchel.
The Munich coach is of the opinion that “big teams need leaders who can resolve tensions independently instead of complaining about it,” it is said.

Benjamin Pavard wanted to leave FC Bayern
Pavard really wanted to leave Bayern about six months ago and move to Italy.
From there, Inter signaled concrete interest.
However, the negotiations dragged on and a real farce developed over the course of weeks.
Which ultimately dissolved in a transfer.
At the end of August, Pavard moved to the blue district of Milan for a fee of around 30 million euros.
He leaves a very good impression there, according to the motto: fled from FC Bayern, adored by Italians.

reported on Monday that Bayern wanted to give up at least seven players as part of a radical change.
Goretzka may also be one of them, who is a regular player for the German record champions but, like so many of them, is having a mixed season.
It was only recently reported in Italy that Juventus Turin had inquired about Goretzka.
