The poker around Alphonso Davies will have to be one of the first transfer decisions made by sports director Max Eberl at FC Bayern.
“I will now start the discussions,” said the 50-year-old when he was introduced.
However, they don't want to lose the player for free.

In other words: Either Davies extends his contract in Munich, which is valid until 2025, or the Canadian leaves the German record champions in the summer.
Should the latter case occur, the Munich-based team apparently already has a prominent desired successor on their list.
We're talking about Andy Robertson!
According to Britain's
Daily Mail,
the Liverpool star and Scotland captain could replace Davies in the event of a departure.
However, a transfer would not be easy.
Robertson is a fan favorite in Liverpool and has been playing for the Reds since 2017.

However, it is not yet clear that Davies will actually leave Munich in the summer.
The Canadian is currently working on his comeback and may have sent a positive signal in contract poker.
