He matured at Eintracht Frankfurt and is now languishing on the bench at Lazio.
Will Daichi Kamada return to the Bundesliga soon?
Frankfurt - He is one of Frankfurt's Europa League heroes, in recent years he has been one of the most important Eintracht players.
Currently, Daichi Kamada hardly makes headlines anymore - and if he does, then his sporting decline is more of an issue.
Eintracht hero Kamada: rumors of Bundesliga return
After much back and forth, the Japanese left the Main metropolis last summer – for free.
Initially, Kamada had not found a new club.
It wasn't until August 2023 that it became clear: all roads lead to Rome - in this case to Società Sportiva Lazio.
Things didn't and don't want to work out at all for the now 27-year-old in the Italian capital.
That's why there are now rumors of a return to the Bundesliga.
The alleged interested party is not Eintracht, but Borussia Mönchengladbach.
It's easy to see where Daichi Kamada enjoys football more.

Kamada relegation at Lazio Rome: next chapter reached
The usually well-informed account “Inside Eintracht FFM” recently reported on

reported that Gladbach was interested in the national player.
It's obvious why Kamada might be considering a move: he's not a regular player in Rome.
The midfielder has made 25 appearances across all competitions.
The meager yield: one goal and one assist (as of March 2nd, 1 p.m.).
Now the next chapter has been reached: Kamada was not in the Laziali league squad for the third time in a row in the 0-1 defeat against AC Milan on March 1st.

Gladbach reportedly interested in Kamada: Bundesliga return possible?
In contrast, his record in Frankfurt is: 179 appearances, 40 hits, 33 assists.
Kamada flourished in the Bundesliga, increasing his market value to 30 million euros (now 20 million).
The Lazio contract expires in the summer, but there is an option for another season.
In Mönchengladbach, Kamada would meet his compatriot Ko Itakura.
In addition, Düsseldorf's Ao Tanaka is about to sign with the Foals.
With Kamada there would then be three Japanese on the Lower Rhine - possibly an argument in the negotiations.
