What will happen to Thomas Tuchel?
In the meantime, an immediate farewell to FC Bayern is apparently being discussed.
The bosses apparently think differently.
Munich - Not a day without discussions about Thomas Tuchel: After FC Bayern Munich's staid 2-2 draw in Freiburg, experts and fans are once again asking themselves the question: Wouldn't an immediate separation make more sense?
Thomas Tuchel and FC Bayern Munich: What happens next?
It has been known since February 21, 2024 that Bayern and Tuchel will go their separate ways at the end of this season.
With this step, the bosses around CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen actually wanted to make the team responsible.
A last-minute win against Leipzig followed – and now the 2-2 draw in Freiburg.
A performance explosion looks different.
Now it's time for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Lazio Rome.

Stay until the end of the season or say goodbye immediately?
Tuchel tendency of Bayern bosses leaked
Yes!
At least as things stand. According to information from
Bild
, Dreesen and the new sports director Max Eberl want to stick to their plan for Tuchel to stay until the end of the season, at least for the game against the Romans.
So there shouldn't be an immediate exit from Tuchel this weekend - probably due to a lack of alternatives.
Which coach could be considered as a short-term replacement for Tuchel?
There is currently no satisfactory answer to this.
If the fans have their way, Thomas Müller would take over as player-coach - a suggestion that shows how dire Bayern's situation currently is.

FC Bayern with Thomas Tuchel against Lazio Rome
Bayern's appearance in Freiburg once again raised a number of questions.
Tuchel was unable to explain afterwards why the record champions acted completely off track in the first half hour.
He didn't skimp on criticizing his stars.
DAZN expert Jonas Hummels then accused the Bayern coach of being haphazard.
There's a lot of excitement going on among the people of Munich.
What's next?
The championship is out of sight, Leverkusen is seven points ahead with one game less (as of March 2nd, 12 p.m.).
Against Lazio Rome on Tuesday (March 5th), Bayern have to make up for a 0-1 deficit from the first leg.
A hurdle that the Reds can easily overcome in normal form.
But you can no longer rely on this certainty on Säbener Straße these days.
