According to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, things don't really fit between the team and Thomas Tuchel.
The 68-year-old has high expectations for the new Bayern coach.

The search for a suitable successor for Pep Guardiola in the FC Bayern coaching chair is a long one.
Since the Spaniard resigned in 2016, no coach has managed to spend a full two seasons at Säbener Straße.

Thomas Tuchel will also have only spent around 15 months in the Bavarian capital when he leaves the record champions in the summer - at the latest.
Not enough for the fans and bosses of FC Bayern.
“In fact, the frequency of changes is too high,” complained Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the “TOMorrow Business & Style” podcast.
The supervisory board member would therefore like to see a second Guardiola – or Jupp Heynckes – in the future.
“We have to find that coach again who looks after the club with the same dedication as Jupp and Pep did.
That is the benchmark, it will be difficult,” explained Rummenigge.
There was probably no piece of paper between Pep Guardiola and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Probably the best coach in recent football history and the triple coach from 2013 as a “benchmark”?
Thomas Tuchel's successor can at least be sure that the demands in Munich are high.
According to Rummenigge, the collaboration with Guardiola was particularly close.
“It was more than football that united us.
I went to dinner with Pep almost every week.
We drank a good bottle of red wine and talked about God and the world.
There was such a great relationship of trust,” enthused the 68-year-old.

Rummenigge admits: There is no chemistry between Tuchel and the team
There is currently no such trust, at least between the team and Tuchel.
Rummenigge spoke of a “fit between coach and team, which – we have to say this self-critically – is not what we wanted at the moment.
Accordingly, there will be changes.”
It is not yet clear what the changes will look like.
But Rummenigge probably wouldn't mind if one of Guardiola's compatriots, whom he highly admires, took over at FC Bayern soon... (
