Romain Ntamack is back.
According to information from France Bleu Occitanie, the opener of Stade Français takes over the collective coach this week with Stade Toulouse.
The international has been on the sidelines for seven months with a serious left knee injury.
The number 10 of the Blues ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on August 12 against Scotland (30-27) during a preparation match for the World Cup.
He was forced to withdraw two days later.
Ntamack then underwent surgery on August 30, then began his rehabilitation in various locations, between Haute-Garonne, Pyrénées-Orientales and Landes.
He had started to return to racing shortly before the end of year holidays.
According to France Bleu, the Toulouse fly-half could return to competition at the end of March for the reception of Pau in the Top 14. The objective is to be fully operational for the round of 16 of the Champions Cup against Racing 92, on 7 April, a match which could also mean the return of Antoine Dupont who will return to the XV for a time after his Californian triumph in 7.
His absence for the World Cup and for the current Six Nations Tournament is a serious handicap for the French XV.
