Mitchell pours water on Wade at the end/Reuters
Cleveland (21:40) - Boston (13:48) 104:105
Who would have believed that this drama would be decided by Dean Wade?
Cleveland's sharpshooter made five 3-pointers and 20 points in the final quarter - three more than all of Boston - thus ending the longest winning streak in the league until tonight - 11. The Celtics led by 22 at the start of the final quarter, but Wade, who finished with a career-high 23 points, stitched three-pointer after three-pointer and completed the greatest comeback in the history of the club - all this without the injured Donovan Mitchell, and starting from the third quarter also without Evan Mobley who was also injured.
Wade was also confident of the winning basket, 19 seconds to the end, and on the other hand, Jayson Tatum missed the last attempt of the Celtics.
Jarrett Allen added 21 points to the winner, Tatum finished with 26 on the other hand, Kristas Porzingis added 24.
