Ben Sharaf employed quite a few talent hunters around Europe even before he started his graduate career.
Now that he is 17 and on his way to completing his rookie season with Kiryat Ata in the Premier League, it looks like his next destination will be in Germany.
However, Ratiopharm, which won last year's Bundesliga championship and was eliminated yesterday (Tuesday) in the round of 16 of the Eurocup, is offering Sharaf a three-year contract, with exit options to the NBA and Euroleague.
The Israeli coordinator is inclined to agree, in order to join the team next season, and it will have to compensate Kiryat Ata for his release.

If and when he reaches the hall, Sharaf will surely be able to draw inspiration from Juan Nunes.
The Spanish center, who grew up in Real Madrid, arrived in Germany last year, and this season - when he was 19 years old - he contributed 10.8 points and 5.7 assists in almost 26 minutes to the evening in the Eurocup.
He is expected to leave at the end of the season and move to a Euroleague team, if he does not get a contract in the NBA.
