FC Bayern Munich is in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after an impressive 3-0 win over Lazio Rome.

FC Bayern Munich can still do it, the 3-0 win over Lazio Rome was a first approximation of the performance that we are actually used to from the German record champions.
Thanks to the confident performance in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, they made up for the 0-1 deficit from the first leg - and are now in the quarter-finals of the premier class.

Several Bayern stars were in great form against the Romans, with future ex-coach Thomas Tuchel even sacrificing his big toe for success.
Is it now a turning point and a new Bavarian spirit is coming to Säbener Straße?
The DFB Cup is long gone, the championship is utopian with a ten point gap to Bayer Leverkusen.
The Champions League remains the only possible title, and the Reds are now one of the first teams in the top eight.
However, Paris Saint-Germain has already qualified, and the usual suspects from Madrid, Manchester, Liverpool, Barcelona and Milan can follow suit in the coming days.
One thing is certain: the quarter-finals will be a showcase for the giants.
