Thomas Tuchel's term at FC Bayern ends in the summer.

Munich – While FC Bayern qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League during the week and averted elimination against Lazio Rome, planning for the new season is underway in the background.
A central question is the search for the new head coach.
A new name appears on the list.
FC Bayern looking for Tuchel's successor
Even if the Champions League title is still within the realm of possibility for FC Bayern, they are in danger of coming away empty-handed at national level for the first time since 2012.
In the Bundesliga, the gap to leaders Bayer Leverkusen is ten points and in the DFB Cup, the Munich star ensemble failed at third division team Saarbrücken.
This led to FC Bayern deciding to part ways with head coach Thomas Tuchel in the summer.
After just over a year, his term with the record champions is coming to an end.
Numerous names are circulating as his successor, such as Sebastian Hoeneß and Xabi Alonso.
But now a new name is making the rounds.
Arne Slot is said to be a candidate at FC Bayern.

Is Arne Slot coming to FC Bayern?
The name that the
Munich evening newspaper
throws into the ring is Arne Slot from the Dutch top team Feyenoord Rotterdam.
Last season, the 45-year-old led the club from the port city to its first championship since 2017. He also reached the final of the 2022 Conference League with the 1970 European Cup winners, where he was narrowly defeated by AS Roma and José Mourinho .
The successes with Feyenoord resulted in him being named Coach of the Year in the Netherlands in both 2022 and 2023 and has already been linked to several top clubs.
His contract in Rotterdam runs until 2026. The Dutchman stands for high pressing, quick transition play and attractive football.

At the weekend there was the top game in the Eredivisie between PSV Eindhoven and Slots Feyenoord Rotterdam.
After the 2-2 draw, the coach was confronted with the rumors at the subsequent press conference.
His answer was brief and humorous: “Does it say Peter Bosz on this?” The background is that the former BVB coach Bosz leads the Eredivisie table with his team by a clear margin.
Slot did not want to comment on the rumors surrounding him.
“I can’t really answer that.
But it’s nice that I’m on a list,” said the Feyenoord coach.
Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso continues to be the focus of the coaching search.
However, if the desired solution fails, things could get hot again for Arne Slot.
