Will Alphonso Davies leave or extend his contract?
FC Bayern is already looking at possible options for an exit.
Munich – FC Bayern would like to start a transfer offensive in the summer in order to be competitive both nationally and internationally in the coming season.
With Alphonso Davies' future in Munich uncertain, a left-back is also high on the list.
The name is a familiar one.
Davies' uncertain future - is Theo Hernández coming?
The contracts of some important players such as Leroy Sané and Joshua Kimmich expire in the summer of 2025.
Another Munich native whose employment contract with the record champions only runs until 2025 is the Canadian Alphonso Davies.
He came to FC Bayern from the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019 and developed into a world-class defender during this time.
The 23-year-old is currently toying with a move to Real Madrid and it seems that a contract extension in Munich is becoming increasingly unlikely.
So that Bayern don't lose him for a free transfer, he could leave the club in the summer.
Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are already looking for a successor.
One name that appears on the list is AC Milan's Theo Hernández.

Is Lucas Hernández's brother coming to FC Bayern?
In the summer of 2019, FC Bayern signed Lucas Hernández and made him the club's record transfer at the time with a transfer fee of 80 million euros.
The Frenchman and Bayern parted ways again before the current season and he joined Paris Saint-Germain.
Now, however, his brother could find his way to Säbener Straße, as
Sky
reports.
Theo Hernández impresses with the combination of athleticism and technical ability that makes him an offensive-minded full-back.
This season, the Frenchman has four goals and three assists in 24 games in Serie A. With his offensive qualities, he is similar to Davies, who is flirting with Real Madrid.

High transfer fee demanded for Theo Hernández
But a transfer from Theo Hernández to Munich wouldn't be cheap.
Although he shouldn't cost quite the amount that FC Bayern had to pay when his brother moved, you would have to dig deep into your pockets for AC Milan's left-back.
According to information from
Sky,
the Munich team would have to pay around 60 to 70 million euros including bonuses for Theo Hernández.
Although his contract in Lombardy runs until 2026, FC Bayern are optimistic that the 26-year-old would look for a new challenge.
