Good and reassuring news.
Alberth Elis, player for the Girondins de Bordeaux, left the city's university hospital this Wednesday, according to Sud-Ouest.
The 28-year-old Honduran was transferred to a private clinic.
He came out of an artificial coma on February 28, after suffering a head trauma during a match against Guingamp in Ligue 2 a few days earlier.
“His state of health is gradually improving,” those around him told Sud-Ouest.
You always have to be careful, you don't know how long it will take.
There is still a long way to go.
» According to the daily, Alberth Elis has received visits from several partners in recent days.
The sports director, Admar Lopes, and the coach, Albert Riera, also come to see him regularly.
Players, staff and employees, the whole Club is thinking of you Alberth 💙🤍 pic.twitter.com/qMD4SotaZP

After coming out of the coma on February 28, the Bordeaux coach spoke about the attacker's situation at a press conference: “I needed to give the team a little hope because it was hard.
» Clément Michelin, Girondins full-back, also spoke: “With what happened, we realized that we were a family given how it affected and touched the group.
These are things we are not prepared for.
»
But the solidarity momentum that was created within the club also transcended the people of Bordeaux.
“When I see the reaction we had during the match, how we united around Elis, these are striking things and in a serious moment, these are beautiful things which bring us together and obviously we will to have that extra soul,” added Clément Michelin.
