Rafael Borré is leaving the Bundesliga and moving to Brazil.
At Eintracht Frankfurt, the attacker will not be forgotten.
Bremen/Frankfurt – The rumors about an early departure from the Bundesliga persisted for a long time.
It is now clear that Rafael Borré is moving to Brazil with immediate effect.
The transfer was originally planned for the summer.
The Colombian, who was frantically welcomed by fans at the airport in Porto Alegre, signed a contract until the end of 2028.
Eintracht striker moves to Brazil
The deal was not easy to conclude because three clubs had to agree to it.
Eintracht Frankfurt was already clear with Internacional Porto Alegre about a move after the current season.
Since Borré was on loan to SV Werder Bremen, the Werder team also had to give their okay for an early transfer.
“Rafa scored important goals and assists for us in the first half of the season.
But it doesn't do you any good if you have a player who is perhaps dissatisfied because the constellation means he is no longer a regular player that he was before.
“You then have to carefully consider what makes the most sense for the squad – and that’s why we made that decision,” said Werder’s professional football director Clemens Fritz to the

“Justin Njinmah, Nick Woltemade and Dawid Kownacki enjoy our complete trust.
We have therefore decided that it is currently more important for us to get our own boys on the pitch.
But Borré always behaved correctly.
“The situation was certainly not easy for Rafa, a lot was thrown at him,” continued Fritz.
Borré forms a storm duo with ex-Eintracht professional Alario
At Internacional Porto Alegre, Borré will meet fellow striker Lucas Alario, with whom he already played together at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Argentinian performed well after his departure from SGE and has already scored important goals for his new club.
In the future it could come down to a Borré/Alario storm duo.
