The Serbian national team is courting Aleksandar Pavlovic.
There has already been a first meeting.
But the Bayern shooting star is probably hoping for Nagelsmann.
Belgrade/Munich – Aleksandar Pavlovic is the man of the hour at FC Bayern.
Despite being only 19 years old, the youngster is already making progress and was also impressive in the 3-0 win against Lazio Rome in the Champions League.
This arouses the interest of the Serbian association.
Pavlovic now really wants to win him over to the national team.
But Bayern's shooting star is hesitant to make a decision.
Official statement: Serbian association is fighting for Bayern youngster Pavlovic
Pavlovic made his debut for the DFB U20 team in November.
But because his parents come from Serbia, the midfielder, who Bayern veteran Thomas Müller thinks highly of, could also play for the Serbian senior national team.
A delegation from the association was now in Munich.
As an official statement shows, the entourage around the director of the national team, Stevan Stojanovic, met with Pavlovic's parents there.
The aim of the conversation was to persuade them to change their son's dressing.

Serbia's association has already met with the parents of FCB star Pavlovic
“The conversation was constructive and direct for both sides,” Stojanovic said of the meeting.
The association has been in contact with Pavlovic's parents for "several months," the statement said.
Serbia's national coach Dragan Stojkovic is convinced of the 19-year-old's abilities.
There is therefore “no doubt that we see him in the senior team and the plan was to call him up in March,” emphasized the director of the “White Eagles” with a view to the upcoming international matches against Russia and Cyprus.
However, this will not happen – at least for the time being.

Pavlovic hesitates: Munich youngster dreams of home European Championships in the DFB jersey
The Bayern youngster's parents have communicated that Pavlovic does not want to make a decision at the moment.
According to Stojanovic, he would like to give himself time until “after the end of the European Championships in Germany”.
Pavlovic himself recently said that the home European Championship in the DFB jersey was “a dream”.
So is he perhaps hoping for a nomination from national coach Julian Nagelsmann in the near future and is therefore not saying yes to the Serbian association yet?
“If he continues like this, he will certainly get his chance,” said Bayern President Herbert Hainer recently on

, convinced that Pavlovic would make his debut for the DFB team in the medium term.
“It remains to be seen whether this will be the case at the European Championships.
“That also has to grow,” Hainer continued.
What does Nagelsmann do?
Serbian association wants to convince Bavaria's Pavlovic
However, the Serbian association still hopes that Pavlovic “will wear the Serbian jersey from autumn,” Stojanovic said in the statement.
The director said he was confident that he “absolutely” understood the Bayern star’s hesitation and would “stay in touch” with him and his parents.
This advance by Serbia makes it clear: the DFB is now required to intensify its efforts to attract the Munich player.
Hannes Wolf's call-up to the U20 national team last fall was already a first signal.
Pavlovic is scheduled to make his debut for the German U21 team at the end of March.
According to
Sky
information, the 19-year-old is very happy about it.
But Julian Nagelsmann should also have the Bayern director on the bill, otherwise Germany could risk losing the next top talent.
Only recently did the promising Can Uzun decide against the DFB.
