Strong opponents are waiting there.
We give an overview.
Munich – FC Bayern achieved a breakthrough in the Champions League.
After the 0-1 defeat in the first leg, the Munich team showed their class in the second leg and moved into the quarter-finals after a confident 3-0 win against Lazio Rome.
A real European heavyweight may now be waiting there.
FC Bayern moves into the Champions League quarter-finals: Kane, Müller and de Ligt are big
Harry Kane had every reason to celebrate on Tuesday evening (March 6th) because thanks to his brace, FC Bayern still have a chance of winning the Champions League title.
The international press also celebrated the England captain for his performance.
But Thomas Müller and Matthijs de Ligt also played well in front of their home crowd against Lazio Rome (

grade 1).
In the current crisis, such a sense of success comes at just the right time - but a real giant could be waiting for FC Bayern in the quarter-finals.

FC Bayern faces a difficult opponent in the Champions League quarter-finals
The draw will take place on March 15th, then it will be decided which opponent FC Bayern will face in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The following applies: Any pairing is possible, there are no longer any restrictions in the quarter-finals.
For example, it is possible for two teams from the same country to compete against each other.
So far that hasn't worked.
Either way, the names of the possible opponents are top-class.
Paris Saint-Germain has already made the step, and the usual suspects from Milan, Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester also have good chances.
In addition, Borussia Dortmund could also make it to the last eight - which would make a German duel possible.

Liberation for FC Bayern: “We are very happy”
After the game, everyone involved at FC Bayern was happy about moving into the next round.
“We are very happy and are trying to simply enjoy the feeling that is there right now for everyone involved, regardless of what was in the newspaper yesterday, what will be in the newspaper tomorrow or whatever else was and is, but feels “It just feels good,” said Thomas Müller on the
Amazon Prime
microphone after the game .
And who knows, maybe this feeling can be carried into the final sprint of the league - even if ten points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen is already a big hurdle.
