We will have to count on Cergy-Pontoise in these Magnus League playoffs.
The youngest team in the French Ice Hockey Championship, the “Jokers” won 3 goals to 1 at the Angers Ice Park this Friday evening, for their first match in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The Cergy-Pontains had, however, started this meeting very badly, very quickly conceding a goal through the No. 8 of the Dukes, Neil Manning (1-0, 1st).
This meeting remained closed for a very long time, with two teams who had difficulty making the opponent bend.
But it was ultimately a fiery third period which offered victory to the Jokers: after a goalless second period, the Ile-de-France residents scored three goals at the end of the match by Tristan Crozier (1-1, 43rd), Louis Petit (1-2, 52nd) and Alexander Rolf Barber (1-3, 60th).

A very nice victory against the 2nd of the regular season, which the Jokers will meet again this Saturday for the second round of this best-of-seven-match series.
Then it will be in Cergy to host in its Aren'Ice, on March 12.
