Lots of spectators, lots of goals: The first semi-final between the Peißenberg Miners and TEV Miesbach was tough.

A penalty had a big impact.

Peißenberg

– In the main round of the Bayernliga, the Peißenberg Miners won both games against TEV Miesbach.

The first defeat came at the start of the semi-final series - 4:7 on Friday evening after the first playoff game.

The approximately 1,400 spectators watched an interesting and even game for two thirds.

A controversial penalty in favor of Miesbach (39th) ensured that the momentum tipped towards the guests.

In the second game on Sunday (6 p.m.) at TEV, the Miners are already under pressure.

Peißenberg and Miesbach deliver a high-scoring playoff game

A palpation at the beginning?

Yes, because of that!

The first five minutes already featured shots on goal, a scuffle with a penalty time for each team - and Peißenberg's opening goal.

Good forechecking led to the goal being won, Martin Andrä put Dejan Vogl in the spotlight, who finished freely to make it 1-0 (4th).

The Miners continued confidently, which was reflected in three big chances: Valentin Hörndl's action saved Alexander Kirsch's skate on the line (6th).

TEV keeper Philip Lehr made strong saves against Vogl (6th) and Ryan Murphy (12th).

But Miesbach is simply too good to be knocked out so easily.

Little by little the guests secured an advantage;

Many degrees were the result.

A shot from Bohumil Slavicek initiated the equalizer;

Felix Feuerreiter poked the puck into the net (14th).

Defender Florian Simon scores twice

In the middle third, Peißenberg came into the power play for the first time - and immediately shook off the weakness he had recently shown.

It took 20 seconds before Florian Simon scored to make it 2-1 (22').

Miesbach responded quickly, supported by a Peißenberg loss: Dominik Pölt scored to make it 2-2 (25th).

It continued to be entertaining: Miesbach's Michael Grabmaier hit the post (29th), while on the other side Jakob Heigl failed in a solo attempt (30th).

Vogl was then free and Lehr saved with his arms raised (31').

Just when the Miners had survived a game with fewer players, Slavicek scored with Miesbacher to make it 3-2 (34').

Immediately afterwards, TEV had a lot of luck with a shot from Sinan Ondörtoglu (36th).

The Miners fans were angry about the decision, which led to a penalty for Miesbach (39th);

TEV player Nick Endress was neither severely hindered nor fell during Andrä's rescue attempt.

Aziz Ehliz scored his sixth goal in the playoffs to make it 4-2.

At the start of the final third, the Miners conceded the next effective goal: Endress simply took a shot after a pass from around the corner;

Miesbach led 5:2 (41st).

Unfortunately from the Miners' point of view, things continued: A power play remained unused, but Miesbach made it 6-2 a little later through Ehliz (46th).

The 3:6 by Murphy (49th) offered a small glimmer of hope.

It disappeared immediately after Christian Neuert scored Miesbach's seventh goal in the same minute.

A double majority gave the Miners another chance to come back.

But it remained – almost symptomatically – unused.

Peißenberg no longer seemed to believe in a miracle.

Defender Simon still showed fighting spirit again, his individual action was rewarded with the goal to make it 4:7 (56th).

A penalty against Peißenberg and a hit on the post by TEV player Felix Feuerreiter were the last notable events on the ice.
