Blue and pink.
The skies of Jeddah seemed to celebrate the colors of Alpine above the Red Sea before the start of qualifying for the second Formula 1 Grand Prix of the year. Three hours later, night had fallen, the three sessions finished, just like the hopes of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly to experience a better weekend than the previous week in Bahrain.
The two French drivers took 17th and 18th places in qualifying this Friday, March 8, a little better than seven days earlier (19th and 20th) but still far from their ambitions.
The blue-white-red single-seater, predicted in pre-season by followers as the least efficient on the grid, is condemned to play for places of honor this year.
