The start of the season will have to wait for Jake Dixon.
While participating in the training session on the sidelines of the Qatar Moto 2 Grand Prix, after more than three months of break, the Briton suffered a spectacular fall, which immediately raised a red flag.
Arriving at full speed into turn 13, the CFMoto Aspar Team rider completely missed the moment to right his machine and found himself propelled into the air, almost two meters above the track.

Landing on the tarmac, but fortunately not on his head, the pilot then slipped into the gravel, where he was able to be taken care of by the emergency services... who found no fracture.
Although he remained conscious, he was not cleared by doctors to participate in the weekend's race due to the "trauma" caused by his crash.
After recovering him, his team took him to the hospital for further tests.
“I saw Jake after the crash.
Unfortunately, he had a big highside, it can happen, but the most important thing is that nothing is broken, reassured his sports director Nico Terol.
They went to the hospital to make sure everything was ok.
