Italy confirms its revival.
After the draw against the XV of France (13-13), which should have been a victory without the penalty missed in the last moments by Garbisi, the Nazionale struck a big blow this Saturday, bringing down Scotland (31-29), who was second in the standings before this 4th day, in a sold-out Olympic Stadium in Rome (69,800 people).
The Italians scored three tries against four for the Scots, but the Transalpines made the difference in the second half: the Scots only scored one try at the end of the match point in the second half.
This is the first coup for the new transalpine coach Gonzalo Quesada.
This is the eighth transalpine victory over the XV du Chardon since 2000, the last dating back to 2012.
