Conclusion

: With this, Stefan Kraft secures his next World Cup victory and thus cements his claim to victory in the overall World Cup, as well as victory in the Raw Air Tour.

The German team, on the other hand, disappointed across the board.

The best DSV athlete was Pius Paschke in 14th place.

2nd round

: Now only Stefan Kraft is at the top and he shows his class here.

133 meters are enough for the Austrian to win.

2nd round

: Can Timi Zajc defeat the Norwegian?

No, because in very good conditions it only reaches 130 meters.

He falls back to sixth place.

2nd round

: Three jumpers are still up.

First up is Johann Andre Forfang.

He won't be able to displace his compatriot, even if he jumps the same distance, because his landing isn't really good.

He's also only fourth.

2nd round

: Now it's Daniel Huber's turn.

He won't go past Sundal, 129 meters isn't enough for that.

He's only fourth.

2nd round

: But Hörl will also have to clear the leaders' box quickly, because Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal shows 131 meters and takes the lead.

2nd round

: And Jan Hörl also flies far down.

It is 129.5 meters.

In doing so, he pushes his compatriot back from the top spot.

2nd round

: A really strong jump from Michael Hayböck.

The Austrian flies to 133 meters and takes the lead.

2nd round

: His compatriot Anze Lanisek is also flying well here.

He reaches 127 meters, but remains behind Prevc in fourth place.

2nd round

: Now it's Domen Prevc's turn.

He does a little better than Stoch and takes third place with 125.5 meters.

2nd round

: We have reached the last ten jumpers.

Kamil Stoch starts things off.

He jumps to 121.5 meters and falls back to seventh place.

2nd round

: Andreas Wellinger is now the last German in this competition.

He can't come close to Paschke's width.

It's only 124.5 meters and only sixth place.

2nd round

: It's Pius Paschke's turn.

The conditions are good, as is his jump.

127 meters are for him.

He ranks second.

2nd round

: After the conditions were really good again for a short time, the wind has now changed again and there is hardly any updraft.

Tate Frantz, who is in third place with his 116 meters, also notices this.

2nd round

: Lovro Kos has now changed that.

He flies to a strong 129 meters and takes the lead.

2nd round

: Things haven't gone very far here yet.

None of the first three jumpers could jump anywhere near the 120 meter mark.

Even Giovanni Bresadola with his 116 meters can't do that.

2nd round

: This continues here.

Constantin Schmid had barely slipped into the second round, now he opens it with 110 meters.

Before the 2nd round

: It looks like there will really be a final here.

In this case there are still three German jumpers.

Constantin Schmid will open the second round, followed by Pius Paschke (13) and Andreas Wellinger (15).

Before the 2nd round

: The second round continues here in Oslo from 4:00 p.m.

Ski jumping today in the live ticker: The interim results after the first round

-5.8

3. Johann Andre Forfang (Norway)

-7.4

16. Andreas Wellinger (Germany)

-15.1

18. Pius Paschke (Germany)

30. Constantin Schmid (Germany)

-26.1

36. Karl Geiger (Germany)

-32.9 / eliminated

48. Philipp Raimund (Germany)

-46.9 / eliminated

Conclusion

: A really bitter first round for the German team here in Oslo.

Karl Geiger and Philipp Raimund are eliminated.

Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke and Constantin Schmid are already far behind.

It remains to be seen whether there will even be a second round given these difficult wind conditions.

1st round

: Now only Daniel Huber is at the top.

He shows a very good jump and flies to 128.5 meters.

He ranks fourth.

Stefan Kraft wins the first round.

1st round

: He is now followed by his compatriot Johann Andre Forfang, who jumps to 128 meters.

That puts him in third place.

1st round

: Two Norwegians follow.

First comes Marius Lindvik.

He flies to 130 meters, but doesn't really manage to land.

This puts him in twelfth place.

1st round

: There are now four jumpers left.

Next up is Peter Prevc.

The Slovenian reaches 124 meters and is in 14th place.

1st round

: Manuel Fettner is now the first jumper in a long time to get through here reasonably well.

He jumps at 120 meters and is 21.

1st round

: And unfortunately this one jumper is Philipp Raimund.

He only reaches 111 meters and is therefore eliminated.

Really bitter after his strong qualification.

So Constantin Schmid is in the final.

1st round

: And Robert Johansson is also gone with the wind here.

At 117 meters he is also not in the second round.

That could now bring Constantin Schmid into the competition.

Another knight would have to land behind him.

1st round

: Now the Finn can go.

He really falters here and saves his jump to 113.5 meters.

So he's definitely out.

1st round

: Eetu Nousiainen from Finland, on the other hand, has to wait a little longer.

The wind makes jumping impossible.

1st round

: His compatriot Ren Nikaido gets along a little better.

He flies to 126.5 meters and is eleventh.

1st round

: We have now reached the last ten jumpers.

Ryoyu Kobayashi is the first to get green.

However, the Four Hills Tournament winner will also miss the second round.

He only reaches 111 meters.

He is 32.

1st round

: Michael Hayböck also had to wait a long time before he was finally allowed to go down.

He jumps to 127.5 meters and ranks fifth.

1st round

: There are now frequent short breaks.

The wind is getting stronger again.

Since the women's jumping is still scheduled for the late afternoon, the men's competition could be limited to one round if the conditions do not improve again.

1st round

: Can Andreas Wellinger follow suit here?

No, in good conditions it only reaches 126 meters.

This puts him in ninth place.

1st round

: Now there are two top jumpers in a row with Stefan Kraft and Andreas Wellinger.

Kraft has to go down first and shows a really strong jump to 132 meters.

This puts him in the lead.

1st round

: 30 jumpers are now down, 20 are still to follow.

Aleksander Zniszczol from Poland starts here.

However, he will not be in the final either.

At 113 meters he is only 25.

1st round

: It's Daniel Andre Tande's turn.

Although he jumps at 126 meters, he had good conditions and had a little wobble when landing.

He ranks tenth.

Pius Paschke is therefore qualified for the second round.

1st round

: With Pius Paschke's jump we have reached the halfway point of the first round.

The 33-year-old is now the first German who has a chance of making it to the second round.

He jumps to 127 meters and places seventh.

1st round

: 20 jumpers are already down here.

In 21st place is Anze Lanisek, who is now back in the World Cup after his injury.

He makes a successful comeback here, flying to 127 meters.

This puts the Slovenian in second place.

1st round

: Now it's Karl Geiger's turn.

Even today he cannot shake off his weak form.

At 113.5 meters he will miss the second round, should there be one.

1st round

: Roman Koudelka is now a very experienced jumper and he can deliver here.

The Czech also jumps to 125 meters and pushes Frantz out of second place.

1st round

: Tate Frantz from the USA is now the tenth jumper.

The 18-year-old jumps a good 125 meters and takes second place.

1st round

: The wind conditions are very difficult today.

Domen Prevc also feels this, who suddenly no longer has any upwind, but still jumps to 120 meters and takes the lead.

1st round

: Schmid is followed by Noriaki Kasai.

For him it will probably be the only jump today.

He only reaches 110 meters and takes over the red lantern for the time being.

1st round

: And so it is the turn of the first German, Constantin Schmid.

After the weak qualification, he also has a hard time in the competition and only reaches 118.5 meters.

He is currently second.

1st round

: This opens the Raw Air tour.

Robin Pedersen sets the first distance with 119 meters.

Before jumping

: It starts in Oslo in a few minutes.

Robin Pedersen will open the competition.

Before jumping

: But even if Stefan Kraft has shown weaknesses from time to time, you always have to reckon with the overall World Cup leader and his two pursuers Ryoyu Kobayashi and Andreas Wellinger.

Before jumping

: The Austrian Daniel Huber emerged as the winner from the qualification.

Johann Andre Forfang and Marius Lindvik from Norway landed behind him.

You are going into the jumping today as favorites.

Before jumping

: Stephan Leyhe, however, is not there.

He failed to qualify for today's competition.

Before jumping

: Five German jumpers will take part in this competition today.

Constantin Schmid starts with starting number three, followed by Karl Geiger (15), Pius Paschke (25), Andreas Wellinger (36) and Philipp Raimund (45).

Before jumping

: The test run had to be canceled due to the strong and changeable wind.

However, the competition should take place as normal.

Whether there will be two rounds remains to be seen.

Before jumping

: Hello and welcome to the live ticker for ski jumping in Oslo today.

The first jumping of the Raw Air Tour is about to begin.

Ski jumping in the live ticker today: The preliminary report on individual jumping in Oslo

After the Four Hills Tournament and the Poland Tour, the Raw Air Tour in Norway is the third competition series that will take place this winter.

The winner and successor to

Halvor Egner Granerud

will be searched for over

nine days and 16 judging rounds

at three different locations .

The first stop is Oslo.

Ski jumping in the live ticker today: Rule changes should create more excitement

However, compared to last year, there are some rule changes to make the tour even more exciting.

56 jumpers took part in the first qualification on Friday,

but only the

best 50 athletes

in the tour ranking will compete at the second stop in

Trondheim .

This makes qualification superfluous; you go straight from training to competition.

There will only be qualification again at the last station on the

Monster beacon in Vikersund

.

40 of the 50 remaining jumpers will take part in the competition.

In the

final of the Raw Air Tour on Sunday, March 17th

, the

best 30 athletes

will compete in the first round.

The weakest ten will be eliminated in the second round, and ten jumpers will still take part in the final third round.

Then it will be decided who the winner of the Raw Air Tour is.

Ski jumping in the live ticker today: Germans disappoint in qualification

But now the focus is on the first competition in Oslo and for the Germans this could be a very unpleasant look after qualification.

Only

Philipp Raimund

made it into the top ten, he ended up fifth.

Andreas Wellinger,

on the other hand, disappointed with a 15th place.

He was followed by

Pius Paschke

(26th),

Karl Geiger

(36th) and

Constantin Schmid

(48th).

However, it was really bitter for

Stephan Leyhe

, who finished in

52nd place

behind the Ukrainian Vitaliy Kalinichenko and will therefore miss the first competition.

He now has to score well in the second competition on Sunday in order to be able to compete in Trondheim.

On the other hand, the Austrian Daniel Huber

presented himself strongly

, winning the qualification ahead of the two Norwegians

Johann Andre Forfang

and

Marius Lindvik

.

Stefan Kraft

, who continues to lead the overall World Cup, disappointed like his pursuers Wellinger and Kobayashi (10th).

He only finished 16th.

The Norwegians

in particular are the favorites to win the day

on their home hill.

Three made it into the top ten in qualifying.

They were also really strong in Lahti.

But

Peter Prevc

from Slovenia has also been showing really strong performances since his announcement that he would end his career after this season.

Despite the weak jumps,

Kraft, Wellinger

and

Kobayashi

should never be written off.
