The European Football Championship is just around the corner.
But who is in the goal?
Marc-André ter Stegen or Manuel Neuer?
There should already be an answer.
Munich – The European Football Championship will take place in Germany in three months.
National coach Julian Nagelsmann still has to answer a few important questions before the final test matches on March 23rd in Lyon against France and three days later in Frankfurt against the Netherlands.
Among other things, who will lead their team as number one through the major event in their own country.

DFB goal: Manuel Neuer replaces Marc-André ter Stegen
Nagelsmann has apparently already made a decision in this regard.
According to a report in
Sport Bild,
national coach Marc-André ter Stegen informed him by telephone that Manuel Neuer would be returning - for the upcoming test matches in March.
This means it is clear that the FC Bayern goalkeeper will represent Germany as number one at the home European Championship.
Neuer started the European Championship duel in November with a declaration of war on ter Stegen.
A few months ago, the 37-year-old was the guest of honor at the official presentation of the European Championship ball in front of the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, where the final of the home European Championship, for which the schedule is available here, will take place.

Manuel Neuer declares war on Marc-André ter Stegen
“I want to play in this stadium because the final is here.
“We want to create positive emotions in our country together with the fans and achieve the big goal,” said Neuer in the direction of his competitor.
The FC Bayern ball catcher already said back then that he would like to be in goal again in March.
“It is of course my goal to be back at the March internationals.
I want to attack that ambitiously.”
For ter Stegen, the demotion, should it actually happen in this case, is an absolute blow to the neck.
The FC Barcelona goalkeeper represented Neuer in the DFB team between the posts for almost a whole year after Neuer broke his lower leg while ski touring and had to take a long break as a result.

Marc-André ter Stegen was recently injured himself
Even Ter Stegen recently had bad luck with injuries.
Because the FC Barcelona regular goalkeeper had to deal with constant back pain, in the end only an operation helped.
The native of Mönchengladbach then had to take a break for several weeks, so that Frankfurt's Kevin Trapp was between the posts in the recent DFB embarrassments against Austria (0:2) and Turkey (2:3).
