Watch the incident: Bnei Sakhnin fans disrespect the anthem, and continue to cheer demonstratively even during the singing of "Hatikva"/Walla!
The incident of desecration of the national anthem by Bnei Sakhnin fans continues to evoke echoes in Israeli football.
The one who never remains indifferent to events of this type is Eran Zahavi, who this morning (Sunday) addressed the issue in his Instagram story and also expressed support for Hapoel Hadera captain Menashe Zalka, who received boos and curses from the team's fans from the sector.
"Menasha, we love you," Zahavi wrote to the Hadera player, adding: "Just a proposal for a proportionate punishment, Sakhnin's next home game will be obliged to play the national anthem at the Doha Stadium."

Before the opening whistle yesterday at the Netanya stadium, when "Hatikva" was played, Sakhnin fans continued to sing and cheer their team in a demonstrative and defiant manner.
Then, when Zalka entered as a substitute in the second half, the visiting fans began to sing against him - and again, this was also done in a deliberate manner, when no other player received special curses from Bnei Sakhnin fans, and only Zalka, an IDF fighter who served in the reserves on the northern border, received Chants of "Zelka *Vena's mother" and boos every time he touches the ball.
