Danny Avdia early morning (Monday) recorded his seventh double-double in his last 11 appearances and second in a row, which also helped Washington win a second consecutive game.
This time the Wizards surprised Miami 108:110 away, with 16 points and 10 rebounds from the Israeli forward.
This is Washington's first road win since January 29th.
After a poor shooting night in a win over Charlotte over the weekend, the Wizards shot 41 percent from beyond the arc as they hit 16 of 39 threes, including 6 of 9 in the final quarter where a 10:22 run led to a turnover and a double-digit lead that sealed the deal.
The offense was ticking for Avdia's team tonight, with 35 total assists.
Avdia, who contributed two important baskets in the turning minutes in the last quarter, finished with 1 of 4 for threes, 6 of 10 for twos and was accurate on his only free throw.
In addition provided hijacking and blocking.
Kyle Kuzma again led Washington with 32 points and nine rebounds, with Corey Kispert adding 22 and Tyus Jones dishing out 16 assists along with 12 points.
In Miami, which suffered a third loss in a row, Jimmy Butler scored 23 points and three players contributed 16 each: Bam Adebayo, Terry Rozier and Duncan Robinson, with the first of them also pulling down 16 rebounds.
