A true place of pilgrimage for obstacle course enthusiasts, the Cheltenham festival starts this Tuesday, and after twenty-eight races, it will close its doors this Friday after the traditional Gold Cup, leaving the usual 270,000 spectators to head to their homes.
With the feeling of having experienced a great sporting moment, losing your voice and perhaps with a nice headache after a few pints of Guinness.
“Taking a week's vacation to come to Cheltenham in the rain in March is absolutely not a problem, on the contrary,” confides Mike, an Englishman living in the south of France.
