What a feat for FC Nantes!
Engaged in the quarter-final of the Youth League, in their Beaujoire stadium and in front of 19,301 spectators (record in France), the young people of Nantes defeated Copenhagen on penalties and will compete in the Final Four (3-3, 5-4 on penalties).
Stéphane Moreau's men were however trailing 3-1, but they managed to come back and did not tremble during the terrible penalty session.
It must be said that they are used to it.
Whether against Lech Poznan, against Helsinki or against Sevilla, the Canaries won each time on penalties.
In the round of 16, they still defeated Salzburg in regulation time (1-0).
