Balls aren't the only risk to private parts on a soccer field.
Obviously, the hands of the opponents are too.
Atlético Madrid's Montenegrin defender Stefan Savić learned it the hard way this Wednesday evening during the 1/8 second leg of the Champions League against Inter Milan.
We are playing the 100th minute in the extra time of this meeting, which ended on penalties with the victory of the
Colchoneros
, Savić had a small altercation with Marcus Thuram.
The defender was very closely marking the attacker, visibly too much for his taste while the ball, which was to be played into touch, was not even in play. To keep him away, while they were in the process of jostling, Lilian's eldest son then made a radical gesture: grabbing the private parts of his direct opponent with both hands.

The referee of the match, Szymon Marciniak, did not flinch and did not sanction the Frenchman, neither at the time nor afterwards.
This gesture, not very fair play on the part of Thuram, will therefore remain in the unusual little story of this match, and Savić will have had his revenge since he will see the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
For his part, Marcus Thuram, who had just returned from injury, should console himself by being called up this Thursday by Didier Deschamps for the next two matches of the France team.
