At 35, is Stephen Curry already thinking about his career change?
Currently on a promotional tour for the release of his new children's book ("I am extraordinary"), the NBA star of the Golden State Warriors was a guest on the CBS morning show on Tuesday.
Asked about a possible desire to enter politics and one day run for president of the United States, the basketball player confided that it was a possibility.
“Perhaps (…) I want to use every part of my influence to do good in the way I can do it.
If this is the way to do it, so be it.
Politics is a way to create meaningful change and I'm open to anything.

The four-time NBA champion and two-time NBA MVP is a regular at the White House.
Each year, national champions are traditionally invited by the President of the United States to Washington for an awards ceremony.
After the title in 2017, Curry announced, however, that he would not attend this reception because the tenant of the White House at that time was called Donald Trump.

Curry is - like his friend LeBron James who works for the education of underprivileged children - very invested in charitable causes.
In 2014, he received an award which rewards the NBA player who does the most for the community, through investments or actions.
With the charity “Nothing But Nets”, he sent more than 1,200 mosquito nets to Tanzania to help fight malaria.
He would not be the only former NBA resident to enter politics since Kevin Johnson - 12 seasons at the Phoenix Suns - was Democratic mayor of Sacramento between 2008 and 2016.
While waiting to begin his possible reconversion into politics, Steph Curry, who is currently treating a painful ankle, will try to qualify the Warriors for the NBA playoffs and, above all, is expected to be one of the stars of the next Paris Olympic Games with “Team USA” this summer.
