After the last two matches in the round of 16 of the Champions League and the qualifications of Borussia Dortmund against PSV Eindhoven (1-1, 2-0) and Atlético de Madrid against Inter Milan (1-2, 2-1, 3-2 in the tabs), we now know the names of the seven potential opponents of Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the most prestigious European competition.
The first legs will be played on April 9 and 10, and the return matches will take place a week later, on April 16 and 17.
Among those qualified, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, defeaters of PSG in the last three editions, are the opponents to avoid for the capital club.
A more lenient draw, with a double confrontation against Arsenal or Borussia Dortmund, would probably be more appreciated by Luis Enrique's players.
Facing FC Barcelona or Atlético de Madrid, Paris should also act as favorite, if the innocent hand of the draw decides to pit them against one of these two teams.
The draw will take place this Friday March 15, at around midday, at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
All the rest of the table for the final phase of the Champions League will then be established, since the oppositions for the semi-finals will also be known.
As a result, we will also know which teams will not be able to face each other before a possible final.
