Eintracht Frankfurt's defense chief Robin Koch confirmed a telephone conversation with national coach Nagelsmann.
A return after almost three years is probably imminent.
Frankfurt – Even if not everything works for the newly formed Eintracht from Frankfurt this season, new signing Robin Koch is one of the big constants in coach Dino Toppmöller's squad.
National coach Julian Nagelsmann apparently didn’t miss this either.
The national coach spoke to the 27-year-old on the phone.
A nomination for the upcoming international matches is likely.

The defender basically has all the arguments for a nomination on his side.
Together with William Pacho, Koch is a reliable and effective central defender in both the SGE's three-man and four-man chains.
The Frankfurters only conceded 32 goals.
Only five teams from the Bundesliga were able to be overcome even more rarely.
In addition to the numerical exclamation points, Koch also impresses with his self-confident charisma, his confident passing game and his low error-proneness.

Koch returns to the DFB team after almost three years
Robin Koch's upcoming nomination for the German national team marks the 27-year-old's return to the DFB circle after almost three years.
The central defender last played for Germany in June 2021.
The defensive specialist has played a total of eight international matches so far.
For national coach Nagelsmann, the international matches in France and against the Netherlands are the last two test games before the 36-year-old coach has to nominate at least the provisional squad for the home European Championships in 2024.
A call-up would be a big step towards the European Championship for Koch.
The SGE defense chief has never taken part in a major finals with the national team.
At the same time, teammate Kevin Trapp apparently has to worry about taking part due to the great competition.
