"My father has always been a hero," wrote his daughter Morgan Coleman, "and he will always be a fighter. He is the strongest and bravest person I know. He was able to save his father and mother, but he was not able to save Hammer. Please pray for him and our family in these difficult moments." .
Coleman's other daughter, Mackenzie, added: "I woke up to the most painful news. Anyone who knows me knows that my father is my everything. Please pray for him. I love you, father. My dog has already been taken from me, please don't take my father too."
