Bayer Leverkusen is taking big steps towards the German championship.
Captain Lukas Hradecky didn't care much about the 8-1 win from pursuers Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen - FC Bayern Munich's biggest disadvantage this season may be its own weakness - and at the same time the fact that after twelve years there is another competitor who can take advantage of it: Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Dortmund had tried again and again over the past decade, with the miserable climax ultimately being the last matchday of the 2022/23 season, when they actually let Jamal Musiala and Bayern snatch the championship away from them.
It is currently considered absolutely impossible that the Werkself will experience a similar scenario this May.
With nine games still to play, the lead over Bayern is a whopping ten points - and the XXL cushion is rounded off by maximum sovereignty and serenity.

Hradecky sends ice-cold greetings to FC Bayern: Leverkusen are also saying masters?
The latter was also confirmed by the ice-cold greetings that goalkeeper and captain Lukas Hradecky sent to FC Bayern.

The Finn said after the 2-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg: “I think half of them don’t even know what Bayern’s result was against Mainz.”
The day before, the Munich team had set off fireworks in their 8-1 win against Rheinhessen.

Hradecky also explained: “That’s just the positive attitude that we have.
Everyone does a great job, then goes home and enjoys life.”

Leverkusen is not interested in the Bayern Schützenfest
Leverkusen were challenged in the Europa League against Qarabag Agdam last Thursday.
In distant Azerbaijan they secured a 2-2 shortly before the end - and thus a decent starting position for the second leg next Thursday.
After the exhausting trip, Hradecky was particularly impressed by his team's composure and sovereignty in the win against Wolfsburg: "We achieved the victory super solidly after a long journey," said the 34-year-old.
He concluded with the remark: “And again it’s one weekend less.”
If Bayern and Leverkusen win all their games in unison, successful coach Xabi Alonso's team, in which the Munich team is said to be interested, would be German champions after the 31st matchday - on the last weekend in April.
