Winger or center George North will play his last match with Wales on Saturday, against Italy, the Ospreys player announced on his social networks on Wednesday.
At 31, the Welshman, who will play next season at Provence Rugby, is retiring internationally, after 120 matches with his country.
“I have decided that Saturday's match will put an end to my international career,” George North wrote on his X account (formerly Twitter).
After fourteen years, it seems like the right time to retire.
I loved and cherished every second in the Welsh jersey and got to play with some fantastic teammates.
I was very lucky to realize my dream.
I can't wait to start the next chapter.
