It could be a season of superlatives.
Will Lara Gut-Behrami suddenly end her career afterwards?
Tina Weirather now expressed her suspicions.
Munich – Lara Gut-Behrami is dominating the current World Cup season almost at will.
By the end of the season, she could have four crystal balls in her hand.
In addition to the downhill, super-G and giant slalom disciplines, she will also win the overall World Cup if everything goes according to plan.

Olympic ski champion dominates World Cup season
The 32-year-old always emphasized that she wanted to ski until the 2025 World Cup and then hang up her skis.
But is that just a tactic?
Former ski star Tina Weirather, who is currently on a baby break, thinks this is entirely possible.
“Perhaps she is trying to avoid the questions about her resignation,” explained the 34-year-old in the “Podcast at the Edge of the Slopes”.
She explained her suspicions to the Swiss daily newspaper

: “As an athlete, you don’t particularly like being asked about retirement.
That's why it's certainly smart to give a longer time horizon.” Weirather wouldn't rule out the possibility that Gut-Behrami would suddenly announce her resignation after the end of the season.

Most recently, the currently best female ski racer in the world made statements and decisions that fueled rumors of a quick end to her career.
For example, she will no longer fly to Argentina to prepare because the bad weather in Tierra del Fuego was causing her problems.
In addition, she is no longer sure whether she will actually continue until the 2025 World Cup.
“Maybe I’ll think this is nonsense and stop,” says Lara Gut-Behrami.

If her career ends, she will definitely not miss the daily pressure to perform.
“I won't miss him.
You get up every day and have to be healthy and fit.
That takes a lot of energy.
You are always measured by your performance.
“If you have problems, you have to solve them as quickly as possible – that’s incredible pressure,” she is quoted by

Lara Gut-Behrami has so far won eight medals at World Championships (two gold, three silver and three bronze) and one bronze medal each at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
She also became Olympic champion in the Super-G at the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
