Combo guard Mike Lewis II signed with Hapoel Beer Sheva/Dimona today (Wednesday).
Lewis (26, 1.86), born in Houston, has been playing for the Qatar national team as a citizen since last summer, and last month he represented that country in the Asian Cup games.
The guard is a graduate of Duquesne University who in 2019 began his professional career in the ranks of the Hungarian Olya, where he averaged 14.7 points and 39.6% in three-point shots.
In the 2021/22 season he played for the Polish Dombrova Gornice and scored an average of 16.4 points for her.
After a good season, Luis signed with Latina of the Italian second division and finished with an average of 16 points per game.
The current season was started by Luis Bionava from the top league in Lithuania, contributed 13.6 points along with 3.7 assists per game and reached the second group stage in the Eurocup with the team.
In recent days, the Lithuanian club and the player reached an agreement on his release and move to Israel.
