Several hundred Maccabi Haifa fans went to Italy to accompany their team in the return match in the round of 16 of the Conference League against Fiorentina in Florence, after the 4:3 loss in Budapest last week.
The opening whistle tonight (Thursday) will be at 19:45 and the game will be broadcast on Sport1, when the green crowd was given a police escort on its way to the Artemio Franki Stadium.
Anti-Israel graffiti was sprayed on walls near the stadium and, among other things, it read: "Fascists and Zionists are not welcome here", and also: "Palestine will be liberated".

Only about 7,000 spectators are expected to come to the game, and many Fiorentina fans, including season ticket holders, are expected to leave their feet due to the security arrangements tonight.
The few Fiorentina fans who intend to show up at the field tonight are supposed to undergo a massive check at the entrance gates, but one way or another, in Italy they believe that the power relations on the field will do their job.
