“Everything didn’t go as planned.

Expected at the turning point for his second boxing fight of his career against Anthony Joshua, the Cameroonian was knocked out in the second round last Friday in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

“I felt sleepy”

Asked by Internet users about these sensations, “The Destroyer” confided that he had never felt like that in the past.

" It's the first time.

At no point during the day did I say to myself, “

I remember, even in the locker room warming up, it wasn't going well.

I felt sleepy,” he lamented.

After two defeats (against Fury and Joshua) in as many fights, Francis Ngannou has not put an end to his career in the ring, nor on the octagon: “I am not done with boxing .

I'm not done with MMA.

(…) To put it simply, I will have a lot of fights in the future so I can always combine the two.

It's not because I'm more comfortable in MMA that I'm going to give up boxing.

I'm going to continue to do both, I'm going to continue to do it.

It's part of a career to take on challenges and sometimes it goes well, sometimes not.

But we're working on it.
