One more podium for the Blue biathlon team.
This Thursday in Canmore (Canada), Lou Jeanmonnot took second place in the sprint.
Imperial in shooting with a flawless performance, the 25-year-old Frenchwoman was only beaten by Lisa Vittozzi, also accredited with a 10/10 and faster on skis.
“I felt capable of winning this sprint today, I am very happy,” said the Italian on La Chaine L’Équipe.
This season, my shooting is incredible, and I'm proud of it, because I worked very hard.
(…) I want to do as well in the last two races of the season.

With a 9/10, Julia Simon takes 4th place.
Slower and also at fault, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet took 8th place.
Overall, the French women achieved good skiing times, with Lou Jeanmonnot, Julia Simon and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet respectively signing the 4th, 5th and 7th times of the day.
Note the good performance for Gilonne Guigonnat, 11th (10/10).
Ingrid Trandevold, leader in the general classification at the start of the event, lost valuable points in the race for the big globe this Friday.
The Norwegian, who made a mistake on the prone shot and on the standing shot, only occupied 17th place after the arrival of around sixty biathletes.
Despite everything, she saved the little sprint globe, which she was able to receive after the race.
