Miroslav Klose would like to become the coach of his former club Lazio Rome.
The former Bayern player could receive a call during the international break.
Rome – After being eliminated from the Champions League against FC Bayern Munich and a total of four defeats in a row, Lazio Rome coach Maurizio Sarri has resigned from his coaching position.
The club has now announced this.
Former German international Miroslav Klose is hoping for a call for his successor.
First, however, Sarri's assistant coach Giovanni Martusciello will take over the duties on the dugout.

Nevertheless, the former Bayern and Lazio professional Klose can hope for a job.
The club did not provide any information about the duration of Martusciello's commitment.
A short-term interim role until the international break seems likely, as the

A commitment from Klose is therefore still possible.
But Martusciello's employment until the end of the season cannot be ruled out.

Ex-Bayern professional Klose is still unsuccessful in the coaching business
Klose moved from FC Bayern to the Italian capital in 2011, where he ended his career in 2016.
The record striker still has good connections to Rome: “I'm there regularly and have a lot of friends in Rome.
That was always fantastic, the people and the fans always welcomed me with great openness.
I always enjoy coming back there.”
But is Lazio really taking the risk with Klose?
Despite the good relationships, Klose's involvement is at least questionable.
The former attacker only coached the Austrian first division club SCR Altach at the professional level.
In eight months there were 15 defeats in just 24 competitive games.
Klose's coaching record can still be improved.
Nevertheless, his dream of being a coach in Rome apparently lives on.
