FC Bayern has reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Strong opponents are waiting there.
We give an overview.
Munich – FC Bayern achieved a breakthrough in the Champions League.
After the 0-1 defeat in the first leg, the Munich team showed their class in the second leg and moved into the quarter-finals after a confident 3-0 win against Lazio Rome.
A real European heavyweight may now be waiting there.

Harry Kane had every reason to celebrate on Tuesday evening (March 6th) because thanks to his brace, FC Bayern still have a chance of winning the Champions League title.
The international press also celebrated the England captain for his performance.
But Thomas Müller and Matthijs de Ligt also played well in front of their home crowd against Lazio Rome (

grade 1).
In the current crisis, such a sense of success comes at just the right time - but a real giant could be waiting for FC Bayern in the quarter-finals.

FC Bayern faces a difficult opponent in the Champions League quarter-finals
The draw will take place on March 15th, then it will be decided which opponent FC Bayern will face in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The following applies: Any pairing is possible, there are no longer any restrictions in the quarter-finals.
For example, it is possible for two teams from the same country to compete against each other.
So far that hasn't worked.
Either way, the names of the possible opponents are top-class - because the “usual suspects” have moved into the round of the last eight.
FC Bayern are joined by Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
A German-German duel is also possible in the quarter-finals.

After the game, everyone involved at FC Bayern was happy about moving into the next round.
