Bayern loanee Malik Tillman is drawing attention with strong performances for PSV Eindhoven.
The offensive jewel obviously doesn't want to return to the record champions.
Munich/Eindhoven – The loan from FC Bayern to PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands worked out well for both offensive youngster Malik Tillman and the record champions.
Since the start of the loan in the summer, the 21-year-old has impressed with strong performances for the Dutch league leaders and has been given the necessary playing time under coach Peter Bosz to improve his skills.
Tillman's loan ends on June 30th and he will then return to FC Bayern as planned.
But whether this will happen is questionable.
The German-American's statements make people sit up and take notice.

Bayern loanee Tillman wants to stay at PSV
“That depends more on the clubs than on me,” Tillman told the American broadcaster
ESPN
with a view to his sporting future from the summer.
However, staying in Eindhoven would be in his interest.
“I would be happy if I stayed, but yes.
It’s up to Bayern and it’s up to PSV,” said Tillman.

The young offensive player apparently sees his chances of regular playing time with the record champions as slim.
Exactly what role he would play in the Munich star offensive around Harry Kane, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala & Co. probably also depends on the new Bayern coach.
PSV apparently ready to take purchase option
PSV would like to keep Tillman in their ranks beyond the summer and sign him permanently.
According to media reports, the Dutch have a purchase option that is said to be around 12.5 million euros.
The local newspaper
Eindhovens Dagblat
recently reported that PSV was ready to take up the option.

The praise from our own ranks also speaks for this.
“He is a special player, has something special in every respect.
His one-on-one in tight spaces is great.
And what many don't see is his defensive performance.
The number of balls he wins in midfield is scary,” enthused Earnie Stewart, PSV’s director of football.
The numbers also speak for Tilmann: a strong 15 goals (6 goals, 9 assists) in 31 games this season.
Does Bavaria keep its own Tilmann in its own ranks?
But FC Bayern apparently has the final say on a permanent change.
Accordingly, the Munich-based company can prevent the purchase option for a sum of three million euros from being exercised - provided that they do not want to give up Tilmann permanently or even sell him for a higher amount.
The 21-year-old is a real Bayern native, went through all of the youth teams from U16 to U19 and then played in Bayern's second team.
In the 2021/2022 season he made four short appearances for the professional team under former coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Last season, Bayern loaned Tilmann to Glasgow Rangers, where he was also impressive.
As a result, the record champions extended the contract with Tillman in the summer until 2026 - but it is questionable whether he will actually return to Säbener Straße.
