At the cost of a first half of great beauty, the young Roosters led 21 to 5. If the English had opened the scoring with a 110-meter interception in the first minute, French fullback Mathis Ferté equalized.

Then Toulouse's Kalvin Gourgues scored his first try for his first selection.
The French world champions, euphoric, were going to score a third before the half-hour mark. Initially, a personal exploit from the Pau winger Attissogbe concluded by the captain, Léo Carbonneau.
The knockout was close, with the Bleuets missing a huge opportunity.
But, while they were leading 21 to 5, the young English guard revolted.
To completely reverse the course of the match by scoring six tries (!) to win 45-31.
A success which allowed them to win the Tournament without having lost any match, the Bleuets finishing in 3rd place.
