The women's and men's pursuers are on the program at the World Cup in Canada.

Biathlon today in the live ticker: Tandrevold is leading - but there is a lot going for Vittozzi
With two races to go before the end of the season, Norwegian Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold leads the overall standings with
just seven points
ahead of Italian Lisa Vittozzi.
On Thursday, Tandrevold lost a whopping 65 points in the sprint, Vittozzi won and has a very good chance of winning the big crystal ball for the first time in her career.
The Norwegian still has a slight lead, but the starting position for her pursuer on Saturday is significantly worse.
The starting frequency is based on the results of the sprint.
Vittozzi opens the 10 kilometer race with four shooting stages,
Tandrevold starts one minute behind
.
Vittozzi is in impressive form, Tandrevold has recurring problems when shooting standing.

From a German perspective,
Janina Hettich-Walz (starting position 7) has the best starting position

She starts half a minute behind Vittozzi.
Three DSV women follow with a gap of just over a minute.
Selina Grotian (18), Sophia Schneider (20) and Vanessa Voigt (23) could still have a say in the top places given the favorable race.
Johanna Puff (28) and Julia Kink (50) are significantly behind.

For the men, the starting position after the sprint on Friday is much clearer - at least at the front of the field.
Johannes Thingnes Boe
will open the 12.5 kilometer race from 10:10 p.m.
He starts with a minute lead over the competition and can bag the overall World Cup with a win.
But things get exciting behind that.
Numerous athletes are closely spaced.
The
fight for the podium is completely open
, there are numerous contenders.
With Johannes Kühn and Danilo Riethmüller, two German athletes are also within reach of the podium.
